OK I thought this would be the best place to ask this.

In a lot of movies, I see a lot of bolt action 'sniper' rifles being transported around in parts then assembled on site to fire on whatever the film dictates.

My question is does the reassembled rifle and scope still have accuracy?

Granted this is Hollywood, but my gut feels that no you can't do precision shooting like this. But the bottom line is I don't know so I thought I'd ask.

a take down sniper rifle is engineered to reassemble to a predictable accuracy level

a good concept is to unitize the trigger, sighting system and the barrel together

HS Precision has been making precision take down rifles for several years now, and they are highly regarded.

I think HS has a guarantee on the MOA and return to zero on their take down rifles.
