I'm looking at getting a 454 carbine to pair with my Super Redhawk, and also for the simplicity of only reloading one round. If you're getting 1900fps out of a 7.5" barrell, what kind of increase could you safely expect to see in a 20" barrell? 240 to 300 maybe?

Probably safe to figure on around 300 ft/sec more...

#00 ft/sec sounds about right. Minor variances are due to different powder burn rates. but generally it's about 100 ft/sec per inch . blitz
