I saw a Bersa 85 at the gun show today and it was decently priced but I noticed that when you remove the magazine, the trigger goes limp and will move front to back very loosely with no resistance. Put the magazine back in and it's fine. Is this some sort of safety feature? If so, I may see if it's still there tomorrow. Thanks.

Not familiar with that one, and my Bersa Thunder, while equipped with a magazine-disconnect safety, does not have the described "floppy" trigger. If you don't get your answer here, try the crew over at bersachat.org..

The guys over on Bersa Chat said this was normal. Changed my mind about this one when I found out the mags are $75 to $100 IF you can find them.
