Question regarding bullets on Russian Sniper site - mostly WWII

    The reason I posted it here is there is a little section on Ballistics, bullet and caliber selection. It's about halfway down the page. Clearly a translation of a Russian site, so there's quite a few errors in it.

    I typed out the relevant section below. I assume the caliber is 7.62x54R.
    Anyone know anything about the bullets they are referring to?

    I think it would be interesting to do some comparison testing from then to now, assuming the components referenced are truly WWII era, and if some could be found.

    I've shot my share of WWII surplus, some bad, some of it surprisingly good. Although, looking back, might have been better to preserve most of it.
