If you’re looking for an FMJ, and not a plated, RMR has a decent one. I’ve used Montana golds before but that was before I learned of RMR. Good luck.
Wideners has some. https://www.wideners.com/reloading-supplies/bullets/pistol-bullets/45-acp-bullets#armscor-45-acp-bullets-452-230-grain-fmj-1000 $145 per 1K
I picked up some Berry's plated 230gr RN from PV last week, usually a bit cheaper than FMJ. Those Armscor FMJ look good. I will try them next time I need some.
Any particular reason you want FMJ? The cheapest I use to shoot was Berry's plated. I shoot mainly MBC BE#1 and BE#2, coated or not. 45acp is not known for causing leading in a barrel, just run the soft BHN 9-10 and you want have any problem. All it takes to clean my barrel is a couple of patches on a jag.
Another good option is a Hitek coated bullet from somewhere like Acme. Your gun will never know the difference. But your wallet certainly will.
my Colt hates coated bullets, it gets stuck in the chamber and I had to use a hammer to punch the slide back to remove a live stuck round
+1 on Precision Delta. I use their 9mm JHP for range use with excellent results. Also a fan of their 148gn .38 wadcutters.
I had once started thr process of pressing bottle caps into jackets. It never got to the completion stage.
Not FMJ but I use the grooveless 230gr. coated 45 ACP bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. $55.50 per 500 + shipping. These have worked flawlessly in my 45 ACP Springfield 1911 Range Officer.
