Ive been doing some snooping around the usual sites and cant seem to find anything that I really like. What are some recommendations on quality rail mount flashlights? I want a quick release so that I dont have to get out an allen wrench everytime I draw/holster my gun.

Insight Tech Gear. They use a plastic bar you push to release. Nicer than the screw clamp setup IMHO. I have an M6X light/laser combo on my G22. Like it alot although it is not an LED light. Works fine as a nightstand HD light.

I went with the Streamlight TLR-2 Tac light/laser on my Beretta 90-Two .40. No tools required, it has a raised thumb screw with a slot in it as seen in the photo. you can use your fingers or a coin, It also has a spring assisted rail clamp. Three turns to the left, then push the thumbscrew in and it releases from the rail. Earlier this year Streamlight upgraded and started using the new C4 LED, its 135 lumens, powerful and a brighter whiter light.
