I can't say I knew him, but from what I've read here, he was a good man, fighting for what was right.

May he rest, knowing that others like him will take up the cause now.

an extremely sad note

Mike Slavonick Jr., former NRA Director informed me of Neal Knox's death.

He will be sorely missed.

Yes, he will be ... but he will also be remembered ... and with that memory we will go forward on the path he followed.

May he rest in peace,

My condolences to his family and friends. Somehow this blind-sided me. I guess that I spent so much time on which .gov critter was attempting to pass what, that I didn't take the time to check how the people letting me know what was going on, were themselves.

I may not have seen "eye to eye" with him on some issues, or the direction he wanted to advocate, but I respected his convictions.

His fight was his life, and his life was about freedom.

We lost a warrior today.

He fought the good fight, and always strove to keep the NRA on the straight and narrow. Though he wasn't always successful, he kept plugging away to do what he felt was the right thing - you always knew where he stood.

He will be missed. :(
