All of the Remington 7.62x39 brass that I've seen in the past has small primer pockets  The other day I found some R-P brass with large primer pockets, whats up with this ?

Remington in their infinite wisdom has decided to be the lemmings they are and drop the excellent small primed 7.62x39 cases in favor of the LR primers everyone else uses. Totally ignoring the fact that you don't need a large rifle primer to light off 30grs of powder.

It's just remington's way of making sure everyones 7.62x39's shoots a crappy as possible

I agree. The small primer brass was better. Too bad the others did not follow Remingtons lead.

Darn.

I liked the R-P small primer brass.

Although, it saves me some setup time on the Dillon now that they're all the same primer pocket size. ;)

I have 10 of the Remington small primer pocket ones that I keep reloading. After every shooting session, I still find all ten. Still in great shape.
