I seem to be collecting the wheel of fortune in components. I dont buy anything at gouger prices but I do pick up what I can use. N135 is new to my collection but I could only find a pound. So now with a pound of tac, a pound of ar comp and a pound of n135 I guess I will be in development along with my 100 speer 150s, 100 hornaday 150s and one box of Sierra 150s. Maybe I should do like jonnys reloading bench and start a channel.

One things for certain.......youre gonna have a damn complete reloading log, all that testing. That's a good thing

TAC is killer in 308. In the new Sierra manual its the ACCURACY load powder for 180s and the hunting load powder for 168s. Just like with 3031 its on the faster side so it makes your short barreled rifles shoot like a 26 inch.

And if you wonder why most of my load data and suggestions is 308...I own 6 of them. 2 set up for target and 4 set up for hunting. So Im constantly working with them.

Little better than blasting ammo. I chose it for my main hunting rifle. Positives- Wide accuracy window. Never saw pressure. Easy on brass. Burns clean. Great speed. Only down is groups were just an inch.

You can’t go wrong with buying powder at a good price. I store my powder in a 5 gallon sealed bucket

Mine lives in an ice chest in my room. Reasonable fire protection and if there is a problem I can throw it out the window to save my stash. No primers but a mans gota protect something I keep them separate downstairs

I only keep one bottle of powder in my reloading room. the rest are in buckets, in the garage

I like N135 in my 6 BRs , have not tried it in .308 yet but I bet it's a winner . Let us know what you think of it once you try it please .

The date on the bottle is 2012 so it's going to get used. Last purchased oldest stock. I'm very impressed with the companies website and the great availability and layout of load data.

TAC works well in 223 and 308 for me. This doesn't surprise me at all as 308 is just a 223/5.56 scaled up to 30 caliber to begin with. I have been using 4064 in 308 though as I have more of it on hand and saving my last 7 LBS of TAC for 233 loading until things show back up.

I did the same thing with bullets for my .243. I have 14 different ones, 10 of which I have 100 or less of. Picked most of them up here and there for below market prices just because they were available, figuring they'd be good for practicing load development and trigger time. A couple were bought at market price for dedicated hunting rounds.

If rmr made a 308 bullet I would just start stacking deep by the thousand.

Haven't used it in .308 but TAC shoots well for me in 5.56 and meters great. ( a good quality for blasting ammo)

That's been kind of normal for me since I got back into reloading in the late 80's - right before I got out of reloading again until the late 90's. For a long time I didn't have a place to store my stuff or a separate room setup for reloading. I came up with the idea of mounting presses on bar stools - I could stack or hang the stools to get them out of the way and take them anywhere I wanted to work on putting together some loads. That idea crashed when I moved into a boarding house in '87 for a short-term contract job. I sold off nearly everything, gave away or lost a bunch, and stopped hoarding supplies completely. When I moved back to civilization in the early 90's, I lived in a college town apartment and didn't bother starting reloading again until we moved out to the country. I still refuse to buy mass lots and find I like building custom runs. Load development is more fun than mass production by a long stretch!

I pick up bargains, odds-n-ends, visit estate liquidators, and buy factory over-stock items online. I shoot cheap buying in quantities of less than 5000 and get to explore using older projectiles - just got some boxes Alberts 500 Swaged lead .356" 125gr. LRN and .452" 200gr. SWC on auction for about 3-4¢/bullet. Can't wait to see how they do with 3.5gr. of Bullseye and 5.0 gr. of Red Dot, respectively.
