I just moved a few months ago from an appt to a house. Everything I had for repaires or cleaning I kept in a ammo box for easy storage and transport to the range. Im currently setting up a reloading/gunsmithing/ cleaning bench in the new house. As I unpack everything from the ammo box to the bench, I wondered if you guys have 2 setups, (1 for the range and 1 for the bench at home) or just pack and unpack every range trip.

    thanks

Two setups. I have a range bag that I keep all things needed at the range in and a spot in my shop that is for cleaning and reloading:)

I have a range bag that I use to keep my guns, ammo, and hearing/eye protection in, and I have another big plastic container that goes in the trunk with other assorted range stuff (stapler, targets, sandbags, rest, spotting scope - soon to be a chronograph).

At home the only dedicated "gun area" I have is my reloading bench. Cleaning stuff I keep in a tackle box that I just bring out as needed. I guess you could say I have two setups - home and range - but realistically the gear comprised in each area is completely different. I don't reload or clean guns at the range, and I don't need all the target stuff back home :).

I have bench space dedicated to tear-down, cleaning, light gunsmithing. I also have a separate range bag.

3 actually, I have a Range bag that I have Misc Range stuff, Tools & Cleaning mainly.

I have my HD stuff generally follows me around the house. A nice holster with a .357 in it and the Remington 870 migrates around the house with me most times as well.

then I have my SHTF stuff. But we don't talk about that here. =)

I have a bag with my range stuff, (ears, eyes, cleaning kit) and then I have my stockpile of assorted ammo and parts that just sits in the closet and never leaves home. My SD gear stays holstered and with me at all times.
