Finally made it to the range today with some 38 Super loads. All were in Starline cases with Win small pistol primers. All were shot from a Colt Government 1911 with a 5" bbl.

I had high hopes for Lil'Gun for velocity but it didn't work out that way. Power Pistol really stood out as the performer in accuracy

Thanks for sharing your data, it's always interesting to see the comparisons and results displayed in an orderly fashion.

Try Vitavuori N105 for top end loads in the .38 Super with 125gr bullets. They can approach CHRONOGRAPHED ballistics given for the Cor-Bon 125gr loads (I think around 1350fps). That powder is a little pricy, but for a batch of top end loads, just the ticket.

I've been wanting to try some Vitavuori powders but have been reluctant because of the price. I may just have to bite the bullet and try some.

I did Chrono some Winchester factory 130g +p which ran 1156fps

I've used VV 3N37. It's clean, extremely consistent, accurate.

I've been just using AA No 7 lately. About the same performance, a little less in price.
