I got my CZ 75 PCR slide back from Cajun Gun Works with its new Holosun RDS right about the time they had estimated.
Took it to my club and quickly zero'd it. A bit of familiarization needed to find the nice red dot, but nothing too difficult. The really good part is that these senior citizen eyes can now CLEARLY see the target and the dot. No more front sight lost in the black of the target, no more eye fatigue after 10 or 15 rounds fired, frustration level down drastically.
Group sizes dropped significantly.
What a huge benefit for elderly eyes. My EDC is now a bit more awkward to holster but any difficulties are greatly overshadowed by the improvement in accuracy, consistency and ease of gaining a good sight picture. Yes it does take a bit of getting used to and some practice is necessary, well worth it in my view.
