I love my Crossbreed holster stuff. Really. I've ordered at least 5 different holsters from them in the last two years. My Supertuck is my daily wear, along with an IWB magazine holster. I've had no complaints.

Until now.

I sent in my Supertuck because the Kydex was cracking. They do a good job of repairing it (happened once before.) I received my package with the repaired holster today so I was pretty excited. The Qwikclip just doesn't do it for me, though it is a decent holster.

It wasn't my repaired Supertuck.

It was a brand new Supertuck.

Most of the time people would ask "Well, why are you <deleted> you idiot? It's brand new." Well, most of the people I know anyway. This is stiff as a board. It doesn't fit me, it doesn't fit my extended magazine release and every time I MOVE, my magazine pops. I put up with this <deleted> when I first bought it so going through it again really sucks, especially with a new position (work) where a dropped mag would lead to questions I don't want to answer and coworkers who are sheep.

I'm just freakin' annoyed. Yes, it's minor. Yes, it's not a huge thing on the grand scale of things.

But FSM <deleted>, I really wanted my holster REPAIRED, not REPLACED.

IDK how they repair cracked Kydex, but I'd imagine it isn't something you can do to the same piece over and over again.

Like the man said:

You can't please all the people all the time.

And then he complains about them on line at a gun forum. I hope I never have friends or happy customers like this fellow.

Go figure.

Well, like I said before, it's a minor thing. Just wanted to complain to someone.

I've talked up Crossbreed Holsters quite a bit and am still recommending them. One minor problem doesn't a bad company make.

Still, at the time I received my package, 'overreaction' would have been generous.

You just can't satisfy some people. Take the money (you didn't spend)
on the new Supertuck and pay some teenager to wear it until it's
broken in.

I have kind of mixed feelings about Crossbreed, but I can't take your side on this one. I'm sure the guys at Crossbreed felt that they were making an excellent customer service gesture in replacing the holster rather than repair it, and it was probably easier from a time perspective on their end. You then go on to say it's a minor thing, but your thread is titled "Really annoyed with Crossbreed Holsters", and that is all some people will ever see. Seems you are trying to hurt them when all they did was try to do right by you.
