I'd shoot it a bit before i did "anything"! It probably will shoot more than accurate for your use.
Second choise: i'd get it rebored to something bigger so the origional bbl. is kept. It would be a lot closer to that it was when you got it, and for me at least, it would make a better memory of who gave it to me! That he used it looking just like i got it!
It would have to shoot pretty bad, BEFORE i'd alter it one bit.
I've used "Redmans Rebore" numerous times, and Randy has always done me right!
