My poor ol' rifle had a lot of dents and dings and plain old F-ups from the gunsmith that needed touching up. Fortunately, Super Blue was only $6 at my local gun store (White Elephant, Spokane), so I took some home and gave it a go. I'm really happy with the results and can't wait to try their wood refinishing kit.

when i bought my mosin nagant, the wood was a bit rough as well, i sanded it down all around, got the old stain, remnants of the old shellac off... what i did was i stained it with minwax "sedona red" and then coated it with multiple top coats of tru-oil, with steel wool in between coats to smooth it out... end result is no more scratches or dings in my stock, sedona red matches that russian red finish perfectly, so it looks like the original color, and its nice and smooth to the touch with the top coat
