well, i'll have to check the recall but i know one of mine works because i accidentally tested it in the mountains of northern idaho two months ago by accidentally sitting on the handle while trying to remove my snow packed boots. suddenly everything in my camper was white lol... oops

It took about a month to get our replacement. I almost missed the fact that a return label. was in the peanuts.,so don't just remove the new unit and toss everything else aside.
