Drop $1k for a Kibbler. I paid less b/c I sent him my wood.

Did the same with Jim Chambers.

Unless I'm wrong, Kibler only makes flintlocks.

Think you can get a chambers percussion lock to fit. The kibler are like no other kit, simply amazing what Jim is doing.

You should be able to contact them and get your best answer from them, assuming they are still in business

They are in business, it's just difficult to get them on the phone. Not sure the lady who answered the phone would know what the bore size is. I found a mold after some serious internet searching but it casts like 20 balls at a time, don't know as how I'd like that, jury still out on it.

There's a guy in England that will make any size ball mold for like $50 there one cavity. I'll find my bookmark for there name.

Originals fired a .615 ball. When you get it slug the bore.

I found that as well, however, that was the size for shooting in a combat situation with a badly fouled bore. So far I've found everything from .615 to .648 to .650. So looks like I'm slugging the bore.

My smr doesn't. And I've never seen a two piece stock on a Kibler.
    Photo is not mine.

My bad, I quoted the wrong post. I was talking about the Pedersoli long rifle kits.
