Red dot for a Beeman RS1?

I have an RS1 that I'd like to put a red dot on, having lost a couple of squirrels recently at what should have been very workable range with the iron sights. (Maybe being 56 years old isn't helping?) Any recommendations for a modestly priced red dot and an appropriate mounting plate? Or is a red dot on a break barrel not a great plan due to possible inconsistancy in the barrel reset?

I have 3 red dot scopes - 2 Hatsan 1x30 and 1- NC Star 1x30 Great for Air Rifles. I'm shooting 35 and 25 yards. If you get a Red Dot scope dial in you can't beat it..

I have a Sig Romeo 5 on my Gamo Raptor Whisper. I used a dovetail to weaver rail to mount it. I'm 61 and haven't missed a squirrel in about 2 years.
