Red Dot Scope

I just bought a 454 Casull and want to put a good quality red dot scope on it. This gun will be used for hunting. I've never used a red dot before so I'm hoping to tap the experience of those who have. I want one that will stay together under recoil and hold a zero well. Any recommendations?

I'm not sure what your budget is, but the Aimpoint T-1 is an awesome choice if you're looking for something top-of-the-line. It has a 2 MOA red dot, crystal clear glass, and is about as durable as they come. You could try the primary arms MD-ADS, they demo it on a 12ga with 3" magnums. Micro size, 50k battery life and sub $200.

The Vortex Sparc would be another great option


It is right at the $200 dollar point as well, comes with multi height mounting options so you could use it on a variety of platforms if necessary, and will definitely hold up to the recoil
