Red Dot Sight on Black Diamond

Hi all.
What are your all's opinion on putting Bushnell's Trophy Muli-Reticle Red Dot on my TC Black Diamond?
Will I be able to see well enough out to say 125 to 150yds for a shot on a deer?

Red Dots are better suited for tactical/short range situations. Out past 100yds, it's likely that the dot will cover the entire target area+ ..................therefore when you need accuracy the most, your stuck with guesssing where the center of the dot is.

I love red dots on pistols..............but prefer the ol' crosshairs on my long guns.
