Redskins-Election Corrolation?

Tell you what, go to the casino and put all your money on the roulette table on red. Then if you win, leave it. Keep doing this until you lose. Sooner or later you'll lose.

Sooner or later statistics will prevail. Odds of correlation in any particular election are 50:50.

What about the Scholastic America kids poll. They have also always picked the winner......and their pick..........George W. Bush. Who are you going to believe.....a bunch of football players or to the future of our country...who, by the way, listen to what their parents are saying.

And many years ago, there was a 60-Minutes story on the White House barber. He said, that every election since Eisenhower, the guy with the best hair won.

Kennedy had better hair than Nixon.

Reagan had better hair than Carter or Dukakis.

Clinton had better hair than Bush or Dole.

W and Gore had nearly equal hair. What a disaster.

I hope that trend dies this year, too, cuz Flipper has better hair than W.

And the Deadskins lost to the Packers today, FWIW. I'm hoping for the death of another urban anomalie. The 'Skins haven't been able to find thier own backside with both hands since Snder bought 'em, whatever that means. :neener:

The Redskins may have lost but there is another trend that must be considered. Missouri has voted for the winner in every presidential election since 1956 and it looks like Missouri will go for Bush.

Well, one could say that it mirrors the last election, or, that it foreshadows this one coming up. I'm still of the opinion that the Redskins have little to do with anything except very expensive "entertainment" ($7 beers:barf: ) and it's all a coincidence.

I am not a fan of professional sports.

What illegal motion on the called back TD? The refs stole it. I was there.

Bad calls. Lots and lots of bad calls.
This isn't the first game we've lost thanks to bad refing this season. :banghead:

Yeah, I was getting sick of the "correlation" talk too.

There are a lot of "trends" that conflict this year, so something's got to give.

But if the Sox can win the world series, all bets regarding faith, trends, curses, and coincidences are off.

So since when is a receiver in motion "squaring up" to block a penalty? I hope the ref with that call gets severly fined, fired, or wife leaves him. Got to be some accountability for bad calls. Heck, if I screw up my job I get yelled at . . .
