What calibers have you reloaded but never had to buy factory loaded ammo for your arsenal?

My list is: .22 Hornet (the reason I got into reloading in the first place) bolt action
.300 Whisper/300-221 Fireball (AR upper) and hever had to buy brass for it either
    .44 S&W Special (revolver)
    .308 Win (bolt action)

I wish I could say I didn't have to buy brass for the others, sometimes you can't just find .44 Special lying around the range.

I don't buy factory ammo. If I were to get a new caliber, (I have the calibers I want), I buy 1000 rds new brass (handgun) or 200 rds for rifle.

OF is okay if it is available at the right price (1/2 price of new brass), but often new brass is close in price to what folks think fired brass is worth.

38-45 Clerke, 7mm International Rimmed, and 6.5 x 54 Mauser. The first two are wildcats and the last one is obsolete and not currently in production.

I like to buy a little factory ammunition for my firearms and shoot them over a chronograph for comparison with my reloads.

That 7mm International Rimmed sounds like an interesting one.
I've never bought any ammo for my 30 Herrett either, or any brass for that matter, made every piece myself.

38 spl. First lot I bought was 1000 SWC reloaded in Atlanta, still using that brass.

None. I always shoot factory ammo first in any new gun I acquire.

Quite a few now that I think about it. The most interesting one for me is the 44 Magnum since it was the first handgun I ever got. I've never bought or shot any factory ammo out of it. And actually my list would be a lot longer, but I always buy factory ammo for any gun I keep for self defense.

    7.65×20mm Longue
    38 Super
    10mm
    10.55mm
    44 Magnum
    45 Colt
    454 Casull
    455 Webley
    475 Wildey Magnum

    338 Winchester Magnum
    458 Lott
    460 Weatherby

I bought exactly 20 rounds each of .308 and .223 just so I could chronograph them and compare them to my handloads.

Similar to, but predates the 7-30 Waters. basically a necked down and fire formed 30-30 case.

I probably have a couple handguns besides those cartridges listed in my first post that have not ever shot a factory round. i shoot several cartridges that I have multiple handguns, after the first one, I may not shoot factory ammunition is the subsequent purchases.

    Rifles are a different story.

I know the 7-30 Waters, hadn't heard of that International Rimmed before though. I like my 30 Herrett, but a little work forming cases.

I haven't bought factory 30-06 since 1976 when I started reloading, I bought a 7mm08 a few years ago and have never bought factory for it, I don't buy 44mag or 38 special either, I did buy a couple of boxes of 44mag to test a handi rifle, but don't buy any metallic ammo except for my 22 and 22mag!!

I have never bought any centerfire rounds for any of my guns except my shotguns. One of my Buddies got me into reloading from the get go.

.45 Colt and .270WSM at this point.

I've bought .357 but not .38spl though I've loaded and shot a great deal of it.

30-30, it is a bolt action and the first metallic cartridge I loaded for as I wanted spitzer bullets and not flat nose, have never ever used factory ammo in any 30-30 since

    And hopefully soon a 22 K Hornet and a 220 Swift AI

The only ones that I HAVE fired factory ammo in are rimfire, 7.62X39, and 7.62X54. But I have a few ammo boxes of assorted factory ammo in some of the calibers I do reload (37 different ones presently) that friends/family have given me or I acquired in trades over the years that I never bothered to shoot up yet as I know my hand loads are much more accurate.:D Just sayin.

The only one I can think of that I've never bought factory ammo for is the .41 Magnum. Everything else I've bought some factory ammo somewhere down the line. I like reloading, but if I find a good deal on factory ammo I'm not against using it.
