Cabela's has Lee Pro 1000 press kit for $149 with 50 cent shipping using promo code "50YEARS" (good til 9/20/11) - http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shoo...Rprd731758&WTz_l=SBC;BRprd731758;cat104516280
Hope it's worth it...just dropped the card on it and will begin my reloading phase!

Thanks for this thread!!!
You are very welcome. I think that's just about the lowest price I have seen, especially with 50 cent shipping.

Check out this support thread to better utilize the Pro 1000 - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=507454

http://www.polygunbag.com/ has a lot of bulk reloading bullets for CHEAP. They're pulled, but they still have items like tracers and occasionally incendiary bullets.

Cheap military surplus stuff basically. I hope this can help someone out!

This is more of an FYI.

If you buy shooting/reloading equipment/components from Amazon, consider upgrading to their Amazon Prime membership - http://www.amazon.com/gp/prime?ie=UTF8&tag=googhydr-20&hvadid=2480937525&ref=pd_sl_4jhisc5c2_e

I did the 1 month trial upgrade for mainly watching DVD/instant streaming movie/TV shows (already have Netflix streaming) and now I get unlimited free 2-day shipping on eligible purchases.

Just placed an order and got 2-day free shipping on $10 item. I think free shipping will be paying for the membership ($79/years) by the end of Christmas shopping season and cancelling Netflix ($95/year just for streaming).

I trust JAY and the folks at BERRY'S BULLETS:

Winstead Peters ACC-2000 Electronic Scale
dot.gif

When we decided to make an electronic scale it was with the intention of having all the components made in the USA. We didn’t realize how hard that would be until we were knee deep into the project. With the current state of affairs in regards to manufacturing capabilities here in our great country, there are components that are no longer manufactured in the USA. They can be had on a custom basis, but the cost would be such that the product would be priced out of sight. Having said this we’ve made great strides in getting most of the product produced here in the USA.
Made In USA Components
• Main Circuit Board
• Strain-Gage Plate
• Plastic Injection Molded Case
• All Plastic Pan and Tray
• Printing & Packaging
• All Programming
• All Assembly Done in the USA

The software interface is designed to be completely user-friendly and able to be operated without having to read the manual
everytime you need to calibrate the scale.

• 2000 Grain Capacity
• Oz - Troy Oz - Grain - Gram - Carat - Dram
• Texas Instruments® High-Speed Processor
• Large Wide-Angle High Contrast LCD
• No Warm-Up Time, Ready to Weight in 3-Seconds
• Uses 3 AA Batteries, comes with A/C Adapter
• Low Current Draw = Long Battery Life
• Low Battery Indicator
• 1 Year Warranty

The scale comes packaged in a plastic injection molded hard case with die cut foam to help keep your scale safe while not in use.

$129.99

Natchez Shooters Supplies - HIGH SHIPPING CHGS

Select an item on Natchez, then go to Amazon and compare the shipping charges for the same product - Natchez wants $16 to ship a hardcover reloading handbook (3lbs) vs. free on Amazon.

Yes, their prices are sometimes lower but by the time you get it shipped, the total change is OUTRAGEOUS.

Yes, many have posted higher shipping for Natchez. I have Amazon Prime membership so I get free 2 day shipping on eligible items. ;)

Online vendors like MidwayUSA and Cabelas's have the Lyman #49 for under $20 with more reasonable shipping, especially if you are ordering other items, add even less shipping charges.

Cabela's often run free shipping promo (current promo code WSLEIGH for $100+ purchase).

Lee Pro 1000 press kit for $149

Cabelas still has this reloader on sale, BUT read the reviews and then decide.

If you go with the Kemphs tumbler opt up to the one that includes the media and sifter. Better deal. And I have been useing there media for a while and is very good. don't know what they mix with it but don't need to add polish or anything. I bet I do 4000 rounds (mixed rifle and handgun) before I need to toss it. Maybe more. I origanally was going to go s.s. wet tumble but with there media I decided to stay dry at this time.
