Found two unopened lbs of H450. But wife pitched my Hodgdon's Powder Manual. Do any of you have a manual that lists it? Thanks

Oh yeah, what a dope. I should have mentioned it was for a .243 Win. I like the lighter loads between 60 and 75 grain Sierra bullets. Thanks

    H450 Powder-243 Winchester

Steve's pages above will list most all data. Lyman 45 manual lists data. 60 gr bullet-47 to 52 gr powder. 70 gr bullet- 46 to 51gr. 75gr bullet-45 to 50 gr. 80 gr bullet-44 to 49 gr. 85gr bullet- 43 to 48 gr. 90 gr bullet 42 to 47.5gr powder. 100 gr bullet-40 to 46.5 gr powder. Speer #8 manual does not list H450.

450 is not at it's best with lighter bullets. Does much better with 95 grains and heavier.

I agree with Airman. In 22-250 i had major problems with H450 starting to burn and it just quit when using mag primers. There is a reason it was discontinued.
