I use blocks for all rifle cartridges for which I weigh individual charges. My rifle loading is increasingly on my LNL AP progressive for rifle, but I still weigh charges for everything that is not semi-auto.
I built my blocks in the early 60’s. Took a 1 7/8 inch thick board and a ¾ inch thick board, made a jig and painstakingly drilled a nearly perfect 5X10 set of holes. I then glued a 3/16 piece of mahogany between them. For rifle the thick board is up, for pistol the thin board is up. After 45 years its beaten up but still works great!!!!!!!
