The leade on 19.5 Glocks is very short, and both my standard reloads and factory ammo tend to encounter the rifling. Most rounds won't 'plonk'.
That said, it seems to have no effect on function, and accuracy has been good.
But that isn't the source of the OPs problems; his loads need more power.
