I had lots of problems with mine initially. Purchased new about 12-15 months ago.
First range trip:
Lots of jams. Averaged at least one jam per magazine over the course of about 300 rounds or so. Noticed that the front sight windage screw was loose to the point it was about to fall out and the sight blade was sliding back and forth. Towards the end it was machinegunning, firing 2-3 rounds with each trigger pull and then jamming. Problems occured with the magazine that came with it and the factory mag I purchased off the shelf with it.
Second range trip:
After tightening the sight and giving it a good cleaning and lubing, I returned to the range with at least 5 types of ammo raging from federal golden bullets and federal champion to CCI Greentag and Minimags. Same jamming problems and machinegunning. Tried with very light lube and very heavy lube.
Called Remington who blamed the problem on bad magazines. They sent 2 new ones. Although they looked identical in every way, that seemed to fix the problem.
Accuracy is pretty good by my standard. Finish is pretty crappy. "Chrome" on bolt is flaking off badly, paint on inside of receiver is wearing off, rust on exterior of barrel is quick to form unless it's drenched in oil. Stock trigger is very, very heavy.
Interestingly, it now functions 100% with any ammo and with new or original magazines. Some days it's amazingly accurate for a $120 rifle, some days it's all over the map. Most of that is probably just me.
One thing I noticed, if you don't load the magazines to full capacity when new (and that last 1 can be a pain), it seems to cause problems. After a few run throughs with all 10 rounds, they seem tro break in and work well.
Now that it's running well, I'm fairly satisfied with it considering the price. For $120 I'll accept the faults. Had I paid more, I'd be P#$%ed.
