If you took Remington Oil and put it on a parkerized finish would it dry out and deposit the teflon in the Parkerization or would it condense out and form a layer on the outside of the finish? Just wondered if it would be a worthwhile expenditure of time.

Remington Oil is never a waste of time on a parkerized finish. I use CLP myself but it gets the same result. Parkerized is just a little more durable than blueing but it too will rust eventually.

I was just wondering if the RemOil would absorb into the parkerization and deposit teflon within the finish.

The oil and/OR CLP is absorbed on my 870P, I would assume that means that the teflon is absorbed too. I am sorry, I did not understand your question the first time.

I've been using RemOil by the gallon on my parked shotgun for years and I'm very happy with it. No visible residue forms when the oil evaporates or seeps into the surface irregularities of the finish.
