IMG_7317.JPG I am seeking information whether this Remington 20 gauge Model 11 mfg 1934 per call to Remington (SN 1,036,7XX) was a military firearm. It has a 26-inch barrel including a Poly Choke. CYL bore. No US or Flaming bomb stamps. Has 2 rows of 3 screw holes on left side of receiver.

Thank you for any information. Regards, Bill

I just aquired a Mdl. 11 12 ga. Remington/Browning. It is a solid 90% condition. I never knew the military procurement included 20 ga Mdl 11 shotguns. All Mdl. 11 GI issue had the Flaming Bomb.
It appears your Mdl 11 was drilled and tapped for a scope. This does depreciate the guns value. The Mdl. 11 20 ga. guns do fetch a higher price.
