Remington 552

Are these solid rifles when compared to Ruger 10/22's and Marlin 60's? Are they more reliable and/or easier to clean than 10/22's and Marlin 60's? How is the accuracy of these rifles and also the trigger pull? They look like neat guns since they can cycle 22 shorts.

Yes.

Very reliable. A PITA to clean, thoroughly.

Accuracy, not bad. Trigger pull is standard Remington trigger pack.

That said, I like mine;

 

They'll also cycle CCI Quiet .22, which not many semi autos will. My Beretta Neos is the only other .22 autoloader I have that will.

Just watch your support hand grip with the 552, with that driver side reciprocating charging handle.
