Don't rest the barrel itself (as already stated). Shot in positions that you are more likely to shoot in the field (if you are a hunter). You should be doing less than that. FWIW, I've shot some remingtons with gold tips (I have no clue what they were, but they sucked on deer...), winchester soft points, and currently hornady light mag loads. My 700 30.06 shot all these about the same at 100yds, with the gold tips maybe being slightly more accurate (too bad they didn't expand worth a damn).
In other words, keep shooting, let someone else try it, make sure the scope is tight, but with groups that large out of a bolt, it sounds like you maybe the problem, not the gun. If thats the case, just shoot shoot shoot until you get it down.
