The Brass seem to be the same size, is there any difference?

I have never heard of a 7mm "Super Mag." Where did you read that?

If you are looking at a cartridge headstamp, you could be looking at a Winchester case which will say Super X which is the brand.

The 7mm Super Mag is listed in several sources as being a .357 Maximum case necked to 7mm, mostly used for handgun silhouette. This should have significant differences from the 7mm Rem Mag (and I'm not sure how common brass with a proper headstamp would be, as this is pretty much a "roll your own" proposition). You may well be looking at the W-W Super-X headstamp.
