Does anyone have any experience with one of these shotguns? Purchased one these today NIB. Now just second guessing my purchase.

I don't think I've ever heard any real complaints about them. Then again, I've never heard anyone rave about them either.

    +1 on the above

I don't know what it offers over an 870 but then again, I don't think it gives anything up either.

Love it or hate it guns. A lot of owners are happy, a few aren't, and a ton of non owners hate them. At least Remington proved Benelli doesn't own the market for ugly guns.

Forgot to mention that it is the 18" version. Shot it yesterday evening in my front yard. Shooting 2 3/4" #2 steel shot, recoil was comparable to my 1100 with the same ammo. 3 1/2" ammo will not be used without a pistol grip butt stock installed. Shooting my 870 with 3 1/2" ammo proved that to me.
