I was thinking of trying these for my .500 S&W loads, but I see that this bullet has no crimping cannelure.

I can't imagine this bullet staying put in my revolver without a heavy crimp, so my guess is that it is suitable only for single-shot guns.

Am I missing something or does anyone here use it in their revolver with good results?

Seeing as it is kind of light for a .500, they probably think you will seat it deep enough to crimp over the ogive and not need a cannelure.

Here is the response from Remington:

Thank you for visiting Remington Country! We certainly appreciate you taking the time to write in with your question. DO NOT USE THEM. For 50 cal muzzle loader. No canalure so an effective crimp cannot be put into place for the heavy recoil of the 500 S&W.

Cabelas has these bullets listed as "500S&W" bullets, which is obviously a mistake.

When I looked them up at MidwayUSA, I saw a list of other items bought by people who bought these bullets. Many of the items were 500S&W brass, dies, etc. I think that some reloaders are using these bullets for the wrong cartridge.
