    Happy New Year All,
Do any of you know if the new 7600's have steel or plastic sights on them now?
I have one on order and knowing how cost cutting is going I just wondered.
It's in .243 with wood and blued.
    Thanks
    Longboard

remmy has used plastic sites on tons of their stuff for a long time now; i wouldn't sweat it. I think one of the best site setups they ever used, was on the mohawks, the 660's, and the remmy 788's. I think they all used plastic sights, including the 788's massive shark fin front sight...

I cannot say for sure about new production guns, but I have a few and have had a lot in the past. Never seen a plastic sight on a Remington.

My Mohawk in 243 has steel sights, however the 788 I bought had plastic and I have seen some ADL's that had plastic.
