Removing ACE stock

Looking for instructions on removing an ACE 7” buttstock and replacing it with either a collapsible or fixed buttstock. Especially need advise, instructions regarding removing the ACE already on.

Presuming your Ace is on an AR, disassembly is simple - remove the upper screw in the buttplate/buttpad and wiggle the stock rearward until it disengages from the receiver. Be careful not to lose the rear takedown pin detent spring that's being held into the receiver by the stock.

The hardest part is going to be finding a way to slide the neoprene sleeve off the buffer tube so that you can remove the stock. I recommend dripping warm soapy water between the buffer and the sleeve.
