Removing ILS

    I did it to an old Springfield GI I used to have. It's pretty easy. I don't enjoy tinkering with things, so if I can do it, anyone can.

    considering that the ILS is part of a standard-size mainspring housing kit, it should be an easy swap.

    (and as an aside, the "ILS locking system" is redundant, like "ATM teller machine" or "PIN identification number" ... this message brought to you from the redundant department of redundancy, we're here to assist you with help)

    You can also just replace the guts, and retain the MSH. The original style mainspring is longer and lighter than the ILS parts, and helps with the trigger pull.
