Last year I bought my long desired Winchester M70 Safari Express in 375H&H Mag. It came in a beautiful wood stock and as much as I love wood stocks I want something tougher for hard mountain hunting.

I would love to be able to afford a McMillan but that is nearly half the cost of the rifle. So what I want/ need is a synthetic stock that will give me a stable, comfortable stock that will not cost me an arm and a leg. I do not mind paying for quality, but I want to make sure I get the best for my money. What are my choices?
