I have several Revolvers primarily for Hunting.
In dim light I have trouble picking up Front Sights to get acceptable accuracy, Especially with red or orange standard factory ramp Sights.
This is true in GP100 357, Super Redhawk 44, and SW 686 ( but less of a problem with 686).
Usually I end up shooting about 8 inches High at 25 yards.
The ones I have with quality factory fiber optic have no problem, and black finer sights seem ok.
I know the GP100 have a detent to Press change front sights but I'm not sure about the 686 and some performance center models seem very specific and also I'm not sure about the Super Redhawk.
I called Ruger about the Super Redhawk front sights and they were no help and just referred me to their website to buy some fiber optic but it wasn't the right kind and I had no information as to whether it would work on my gun.
I want to keep some of my hunting pistol s optic Free.
Help please?
