Hey, I was thinking of buying some pulled .223 bullets the seller states that they are out of spec. from .002'' - .030'', if I ran these through a Lee sizing die would that be enough to make them useable for AR-15 blasting ammo.

I have not dealt with pulled bullets, so I am not sure how to proceed..

I had a bunch of those, I just said f it and loaded them as is. They worked fine, I figure the crimp put down most of the rough spots.

The item below is what I'd like to use, to resize if need be, anyone thoughts.

-Fastest and easiest way to lubricate and size cast bullets. Standard 7/8 x 14 threads fit any reloading press. Bullets are pushed through the sizing die nose first, so no special nose punches are needed. Gas checks are automatically seated and crimped in place. Sized bullets are captured in the special container. A 4oz. bottle of LEE LIQUID ALOX® LUBE-a $3.98 value-included free, is enough for thousands of bullets.

COMPLETE FOR ONE SIZE (PRESS NOT INCLUDED) $16.98

I have used Lee .224" and .308" Lube & Size dies on 1000's of surplus bullets over the last 10 years. The bullets work fine and produce the same size groups as surplus ammo does.
I also special ordered a Lee .221" Lube & Size die to resize .224" bullets down to .221" to load in 5.45x39mm. Sent a guy in CA some of my reloads with Hornday 68gr bthp match bullets sized down to .221" in the Lee die. He shot a .8" (8/10 of a inch) 3 shot group at 100 yards with his bolt action SSG-82 rifle. Which is half the size of groups he get with factory ammo so running the match bullets through the Lee Lube & Size die didn't mess the bullets up.
