Retirement present from Les Baer

Yes, roval, I am the guilty party. I fit the frame to the slide, and I did the checkering on the front strap. It is a coincidence that the gun has a visible flaw. The mag catch has some crossed lines. I was going to fix them after I got the gun, but I decided against it. The Serial number of the gun is never visible in the article, but the flaw is. Leaving it in was proof that the gun in the mag was (is) my gun.

Whatever flaw you are alluding to I can't see. It's a beautiful gun and it's really cool that it has your mark on it.

Tark that is beautiful. Congratulations on the gift & making it to retirement. I hope you enjoy your time.

Hi guys. The idiot finally learned how to post pics!!! How about this for a retirement gift from Les Baer.

I am jealous. My organization, you got a retirement luncheon, maybe a Xeroxed piece of paper in a frame. I would take that pistol over a presentation plaque any day.
