I found a revolver at a shop nearby that I thought would be perfect for adventure out in the world.

It has a pretty good pedigree and is very classically styled. Chambered in 455 Webley, not the most easily found world wide ammunition, but a capable round.

Perfect for riding atop an enormous elephant or defending against Egyptian swordsmen in Cairo.

Aside from the movie connection, that's a very mundane revolver.

I think its worth about 10% of the ask, based on what Indy's other personal effects went for at auction in recent years.

If it was a functioning revolver that could still fire live ammo, it might be worth 1 mil or 20% of ask.

I like the movie but could care less about having actual on-screen props. I know it’s special and it makes me nervous about doing stuff with them. It would be like having the runaway golf cart from Ernest goes to camp... sure I would like a golf cart but I don’t want to be the guy to destroy such a classic by actually using it.

This is even worse. You’d be buying the cart that no longer works. You can’t even use it to ruin it! It really is a just a prop now...

And, I love my golf cart. Totally get one. Way worth it. Much better than a dirt bike, really.
