I found a revolver at a shop nearby that I thought would be perfect for adventure out in the world.

It has a pretty good pedigree and is very classically styled. Chambered in 455 Webley, not the most easily found world wide ammunition, but a capable round.

Perfect for riding atop an enormous elephant or defending against Egyptian swordsmen in Cairo.

All for the paltry sum of Five Large.

Oops, that’s five thousand, I meant Five Trump.
That’s $5,000,000.00.

Now I just need a $57,000 bullwhip, and a Stetson!:)

And some fool might be found to pay it. Although, one has to ask, how does someone who has managed to accumulate an extra 5 mil in disposable money be that lacking in judgement?

Aside from the movie connection, that's a very mundane revolver.

If I had just held onto that solid gold idol for a little bit longer...damn you Belloq! :fire:

A really cool piece of movie history, but it’s a touch North of my price range.... about $4,999,650.00 North...

Stay safe.

A somber aside, what is an English sympathetic de-mill?
(Other than a “ we wreck your stuff because we’re the kings”...)
Could it be returned to functionality?

$5M for a non-functioning pistol?
It was half a million less for two 1911s made out of meteorite.;)

Well, it is Michigan. We did vote in one of the most deficient, corrupt Governors in the land...
I like to think I’m an intelligent exception, but I’m from Michigan, so...:D

I'm guessin' that I can't afford this revolver to go with my Indy Halloween costume (got the hat, the boots, the khaki pants and the leather jacket though -- still need the whip)

Sorry, tapped out until my next paycheck ... maybe then :scrutiny:

If it’s still there in a couple months when I get my year-end-bonus...

I like the movie but could care less about having actual on-screen props. I know it’s special and it makes me nervous about doing stuff with them. It would be like having the runaway golf cart from Ernest goes to camp... sure I would like a golf cart but I don’t want to be the guy to destroy such a classic by actually using it.

This is even worse. You’d be buying the cart that no longer works. You can’t even use it to ruin it! It really is a just a prop now...:(

And, I love my golf cart. Totally get one. Way worth it. Much better than a dirt bike, really.

Does that mean the High Power he also had in the Nepal scene is only worth $2.5 million?

Depends on if they ruined it, I mean, if they deactivated it yet...

Still a neat thing to stumble upon.
