It has no other markings like U.S. Property or the flaming bomb ordnance mark. No V prefix either.

My small stable of J-frame revolvers (laid out in somewhat chronological order), along with a few NAA mini-revolvers... :)

The ugly rubber bands on the CVang grips on the Black Widow have since been replaced with considerably more aesthetically pleasing fragments of Tractiongrips cannibalized from another handgun...

I really like the look of the 3" Model 19-3 RS! The Nill grips are a nice addition as well.

The grips on this Iver Johnson Safety Hammerless were originally the long target style with two screws instead of one. They were cracked all to pieces, so I went ahead and filed down their profile to match nearly that of the more common short grips. Much more comfy for carry now. I also installed a better fitting cylinder from a different gun, though is cosmetically a bit uglier than the one I had.

Here's an option if you want original rounded butt grips

I have a pair of that seller's on an H&R large frame .32:

Slight fitting required (file flashing, pin holes imperfect), but getting brand new grips for >100 year old guns at $20 is hard to beat.

    MachIVShooter,

Thanks for the heads up! I'll bookmark that one for sure. I have a reblued but nice safety hammerless that has a perfect set which I can use. That H&R is real pretty.

Speaking of that blued one, all I need to make it functional is a part I haven't been able to source. It's the threaded plug which retains the firing pin and has the holes for a little spanner wrench.
