After disassembly and a fresh coat of Weapon Shield, here is the days results.
100 rounds 230 grain FMJ: no FTE or FTF. Ran perfectly. I was shooting a little low at first but brought it up the second set of 50. I had no failures or anything wrong. Got home disassembly went fine and everything looked good. So looks to me "so far" that this may be my new carry weapon. Still need more rounds thru it before that but so far I am happy. Just thought I would let everyone know.

i picked up one yesterday from my FFL that was ordered from sarco. looks the same as the one in the picture above exept mine had the standard sights and the normal RIA grips without the checkering. and to my suprise it did come with the extended beaver tail saftey and bobed hammer that is shown in the picture above. tideguyinva didnt say about his but mine came with a Novak 7rd magazine.

and like tideguyinva, iv put 100rds of FMJ with no problems.

this is one of the most accurate pistols iv owned (besides the ruger 22/45). my first shot was a dead center bullseye :what: at 7yds, and the rest from the same mag was all touching the first hole and still in the bullseye.

i consider it money well spent. ;)

ill try to post some pictures when i get a chance.

i purchased mine locally here in town. yes mine came with the novak mags as well. also i got the upgraded sights i think they are dovetailed , also not sure what they call them. yup this thing is dead on i just suck at shooting. lol. i got a few bulls eyes also. bascially with 100 round everything was in the black @ 7 yards except for a few i messed up.

ria

I've had one for a few months (8) and have run about 500-600 rounds thru it and not one problem, had purchased a same model from auto ordinance , and to say the least it bounces off the arizona ground pretty well, it didnt run well at all, finally after practically taking a torch to it, the mags have been replaced and a lot of stoning to make things work it ran 50 rounds without a funny,
So hands down the ria is the better unit for the money IMO, i rather like it better than my colt.
ok so slap me silly,
Oh yeah, did have a problem with a mag, after dropping it then stepping on it, I had to do a little tweaking, but it runs out fine.
being old and fat didin;'t help the mag any either.
good luck with it.
