Yep. a bulky box mag and an EMPTY magazine tube........Mall Ninga gun
If it doesn't hold shells, that's not a "magazine tube". The forend has to ride on something.

I picked one up today. The ghost ring sight looks usable, length of pull can be adjusted a little in a few minutes, and it has a cheek riser, in case you want optics. Oh, and it came with
o 3 common pattern* choke tubes in a hard case
o 2 5-rd mags

Not interested? (Shrug.) Don't buy one. But it definitely doesn't appear to be cheap crap. I'll update, once I've had a chance to shoot it.

Nice! Let us know how it runs.

I like the idea of a mag fed pump shotgun. The ease of unloading is a major benefit, especially for someone new to shotguns.

It would make a good RV or a traveling shotgun. Since its illegal in some states to drive with a loaded long arm, this would be a real easy and safe way to load and unload when stopping for the night

You're right. Not a magazine tube..............BUT IT COULD BE ONE with a plug and spring. So you haven't eliminated anything or gained anything. Just a useless mall ninga toy.

Unless it actually goes bang. In which case, it is a fully functioning shotgun with features that cost $500 or more in competitors. :scrutiny:. (Reference: notice no chokes, and only a bead sight.) Also, the user has "gained" a detachable magazine.

Also, not sure exactly what a "ninga" is.

I'll be looking for that review - and I always pay close attention to Shirley's posts...

That said, after a looking at those photos it wouldn't be my first choice...

Mag feed shotguns not really my thing. I don't know of anyone that has this model. Lack of reviews might be lack of prevalence in the market place. This might be a no for me, even if the shotgun is extremely reliable. Might mean the product might be short lived.

I won't say it's pretty, but the ghost ring sights look very usable, and I liked quickly being able to take out a spacer and reduce LOP. The main potential downside I see is that it's very lightweight. I added one of my heavier RDS (Romeo 7), both because I think it's sturdy enough to take the recoil, and because I'm happy to add some weight.

Enough weight in any weapon that comes with a good bit of recoil is a very good idea. Being able to get off a second accurate shot in a fluid situation is important. Understatement

Bit of an update: I got a response from RIA regarding my "rebate" and free mags.

It looks like there's a hangup with my free mag code. It appeared to work last night, but I didn't complete the transaction. Today, the code says it's not valid.

The "rebate" appears to more properly be a discount off Armscor products. Instead of getting $100 check for 2 shotguns, I got 100 12 ga slugs for shipping ($16). That ain't bad.

More info as I have it.

One day I'll likely own a shotgun with a magazine but I'm nearly certain it will be of a semi-auto bullpup flavor. I happen to like tubular magazines for shotguns. Now that I reload my own shells, I've been looking into making some shorter shotgun shells for 3/4oz Lee Key Drive slugs and Lyman Devastators. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to pack 9+1 full-power slugs in my 590.

The 2 drawbacks to box fed shotguns is that shotgun shells are plastic and especially in hot weather can, and will deform. The other drawback is that shotgun shells have pretty big rims on the brass, and you can always get "rimlock" where, due to recoil, when the shells are bouncing, in the magazine, a rim will hook over the top of the next shell under it, and not feed.
I was running a box fed shotgun for 3-gun matches and even though never had "rimlock" while shooting, saw it several times when unloading partial magazines.
