Hey guys,
My safe only came with shelves. There's four tabs, two on each side, that fit into slots in the walls. Shelves lays on those tabs. I had an extra shelf that I drilled oval holes into to hold my rifles. But that's not working out very well. It's very difficult to maneuver my rifles out of the safe, it's too easy to bang em together or against the safe. I'd rather have an open horseshoe type set up. Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks.

I haven't been able to find it again, but a few days before Hurricane Jeanne I saw a pic on THR of a safe with a slide out rack for rifles. I may have to look for this when I buy my safe. Allowed more guns with a smaller footprint. If anyone knows a website that lists them, let us know.

Mine came with just shelves too, I removed all but the top one for handguns, holsters, and ammo. I had a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood, and cut slots for the front row, and ovals for the back rows, it has served me well, with plenty of room for scoped rifles. For the price of my safe, at $150, I could go and buy some plywood, and do some cutting.
The best way to cut the holes, is to make a plan, mine are like 3x4, and spaced two inches apart. I hold my rack up with 3/4 inch boards on either side.
I guess I am cheap, but have a great safe....No one is going to carry this baby out without a crane, at 1500 lbs empty!!!!
