Rifles you want to see made

In responce to post 49, I know He didn't condone violence, because He stopped the fighting on the Mount of Olives, and healed the servant of the preist's ear, He wanted peace for all, I bet He'd support CCP's. :)

Because you don't carry to hurt people, you carry to prevent crime. If we could all perform miracles, then we wouldn't need CCW's, but we can't. Hope I didn't give the wrong impression.

How about a bolt action .45-70 with a heavy octagonal (ie. Sharps) style 30 to 34" barrel. Naturally a bipod would be mandatory OEM equipped.

One thing I'd like to see is for "progressive" rifleing to make its way to production rifles.

I want an over/under in 12g on top and a mag fed .22 mag bottom. In Rugers target grey w/hogue stock. OK let me have it!

Savage 99 remade. It should come in a sporter version and "tactical" version. The tactical version needs a 18'' bull barrel, 30 round removable mags, could accept STANAG mags and the .308 version could accept FAL or M1A mags. Needs to be all black too! Oh and a built in Picatinny rail and fiber optic sights. A Browning BLR in this version could work too.

What's the point in progressive rifleing?

Not 100% sure but i think it's either to allow faster twist rate with less bullet damage or it improves stabilty overall because the bullet gets spun up more uniformly.

I thought of another one, though it's not a rifle. Return of the PYTHON!!!!

Oh, and a bullpup'ed format Kriss Super V, .45 acp, SBR'd (12"), suppressed and full-auto, too, of course.
ANY bullpup in a pistol caliber!
What's the point in progressive rifleing?
It is supposed to increase barrel life, but I have heard at the cost of accuracy because the bullet has to conform to the changing twist. I rather like the partially rifled bore used by the Dragunov, seems like a novel design to me. It starts as a smoothbore and is rifled about 66% of the remaining length. Both designs cost a bit more, gain twist is substantially more for the average barrel.

More semi auto options in .22 wmr. I know remington has one but I'd like to see other companies do em.

A Lee-Enfield "Jungle Carbine" which shoots cheap 7.62x54R.

An M-1 Garand which shoots whichever ammo, similar to .308 or 30-06 at only $.25/round, but no corrosion goes into gas tubes.
Why? I will not buy pricey (US) ammo and we just visited the (101st Airborne's) foxholes near Bastogne, Belgium a few weeks ago. We were on a very interesting tour given by a superb Flemish guy (check 'Youtube': "Reg Jaans Bastogne"). Well worth it.

I'd settle for that ArmedBear!!!! C'mon Winchester... You've already sold two.

i dont want it made...

i want to MAKE it

A marlin or single shot in .327 federal. I have 4 32 mag revolvers and want to stay with same bullet. I plan on doing some rechamberings. So far my k frame and single six are candiates.

I think Sarduy is on a similar track. I'd like an updated SKS. Modern optics mounting, better/more accurate barrel, better stock, updated trigger, AK style mags, but maintaining the top bolt design.

Winchester 70 with Ghost Ring sights and mag capacity up to 10 rounds.
In .308, stainless and black composite stock (they have this part down).
