Here's a link to a local poll on the Texas Senate's measure to allow CCW on college campuses. We're behind now, let's take the lead.

Good. I've seen our campus "police", I'd rather trust a student with a CHL to have my back.

Hmm, this is one of my local news stations and at the university here in El Paso, I am both a student and an employee. I have seen how long it takes the campus police to arrive for calls that aren't deemed life-threatening and based on what I have seen, I would hate to see how long it takes for them to arrive in a serious situation.

I voted earlier but no longer see the poll on the web page.

Mind you, that web page gives me a headache just looking at it and I may not be able to spot it.

I attended UTEP and El Paso Community College from 1977-79 and never had a problem, but I did carry a rifle and a shotgun in my truck. I tried to vote but it appears they ended the pole.
