Rimfire identification -2

I also need help in identifying this rimfire shot shell. There is no head stamp but the over shot card has 8 on it for I would have to imagine to mean #8 shot.

OACL is 1.449"
Neck dia. is .326"
Rim dia. is .403"
Base dia. is .342"
Base height is .372"

Maybe. It's not mine and wasn't going to mess with it. That's why I included all the measurements. It takes a lot of the guess work out.
 
Cartridges of the World would be a good investment. I personally don't know anything about those old rimfire cartridges, except they were a lot more common in the early years of cartridge making, but they survived well into the 20th Century...
 
I have the latest issue and didn't find them in the rimfire section....
 
That's a 9mm rimfire (9mm Flobert) shotshell round, loaded with #8 shot; these used to be popular in what were known as "garden guns", but are more often seen in Europe than in North America. Your round was likely loaded by Fiocchi, and should have a headstamp that looks like "GF" (Guilio Fiocchi) in a shield.
