Ruger MKII

I bought this when I was 15. My dad provided the finger prints. I think it's a 1991. I added the grips and the trigger over the years.

My rimfire pistol

Hello everyone. I have always enjoyed rimfires and their low cost of ownership. Here is a picture of my MkII pistol. It's a blast to shoot but a pain to clean. Also have an Armi Jager rifle I will be posting later this week. Since parts have gotten scare it's more of a show piece than a work horse.

Nice piece Texas Joe!

I use the same basic pistol, a 4 inch bull barrel Ruger MKII, to train new shooters. It is a very nicely balanced pistol. Mine is stainless, with Volquartsen guts. The grips are from CDNN. I recently added a fiber optic front sight. The fiber optic front sight is one of the best additions i have made.

There are some Really nice photos of every ones toys.

Here is mine.

just to rub it in this is a model that we can get up here north of the 49th but that isn't imported into the US.

It's a Tanfoglio (think EAA Witness lineup) Force 22. It's a lightweight with a polymer frame and magazines and an anodized aluminium slide with a proper steel barrel.

BCRider, I was wondering why I had never seen one of those before. Very cool looking! We need to get those into the U.S.

Nice guns

Arkie and Xavier,

The both of you have some sweet setups. I contemplated modifying my MK but instead decided to save for a new Ruger 10/22. I sold mine last year and it's feels like I lost a good friend. :(

My rimfire rifle

Hello again,

Here is a pic of my pride and joy. Jager AP74 .22 rifle. It's a solid little gun I purchased new at a Kmart or Walmart store many years back. It's most content with solid point ammo and will fuss when you feed it hollow points. Now a days it only comes out for it's semi-annual cleaning and then right back to storage. My concern is busting the firing pin or losing the magazine. Parts for these little guys are hard to come by. Enjoy! :)

High Standard Sharpshooter

Bought NIB in the 70's. Still going strong after replacing a couple of springs.

I think that is it for the handguns:D

Texas Joe & Xavier, I've got barrel envy. I've always liked that 4" bull barrel.
+1 I like the 4" bull barrel myself (and those two are very fine examples:)). While that length doesn't (IMO) look as nice on the 22/45 frame , I have been very happy with the performance and handling characteristics of it.

Nice firearms

Some great pics on this last page. I should be posting a 10/22 just as soon as I tell my wife I'm buying it. Or rather she let's me go out and get it.

Until then,

Hey Nwilliams

How do you like your GSG? I fell in love with the design but the price what was out of my league.
